"Spring is in Bloom" Gift Bag & Topper... Guest Designer for the B 'n W Challenges Blog...

I am so excited to be able to Guest Design for the B 'n W Challenges Blog!! :)

Jodi is hosting the challenge this week and she has chosen the theme... "Think Spring!!"

I made a "Spring" Gift Bag & Topper for my girls!! My Hubby bought lots & lots of gardening goodies so they can create their own garden in our new home!!

I chose the adorable "Rapunzel" Digi Image from Elisabeth Bell. You can find it here... http://www.elisabethbell.com/digital-collection/little-rapunzel

The only thing more fun than coloring an Elisabeth Bell image... is coloring a *BIG* Elisabeth Bell image!!!! If you look closely, you'll see a 6x6 acrylic posy flower that I pop-dotted the image onto. So, this adorable "Rapunzel" is a biggie!!!! :)

I used the "Cherish" Martha Stewart Punch and wove 4mm silk ribbon through it. We sell the silk ribbon for only .18 a foot... http://stores.sttg.com/-strse-Thread-Art-cln-.....Silk-Ribbon--dsh--4mm/Categories.bok

I used a "Daisy D's" Rub-on for the title and colored it in with Copic Markers. The rub-ons are also available in our store... http://stores.sttg.com/-strse-396/Daisy-D%27s--dsh--Rub-dsh-Ons/Detail.bok

Here's a pic of the Copic Markers that I used. I also used the #01 Lavender Spica Glitter Marker to write on the tag.

Other items used...

Martha Stewart Score Board
Bow-Easy... to make the bow!
Martha Stewart Punches... "Wild Flowers", "Eyelet Lace" and "Cherish"
Punch Bunch Flowers... Mega Giant #29 and Super Giant #27 (for the tag)

DCWV Glitter Stack
Bazzill Paper

4mm Thread Art Silk Ribbon

Bright, Fun "Fruit" Recipe Cookbooks for my girls!! :)

Hi!! :)

I made these Bright, Fun "Fruit" Recipe Cookbooks for my girls!! They really like to create their own
recipes... so I thought this would be a fun way to keep track of them!! The Tabs are... Smoothies, Snacks & Desserts. All of their recipes will incorporate fruit in some way... Mmmmmm YUMMY & HEALTHY!!! :)

Lots of different goodies went into these cookbooks...

Alyssa made the lemon and lime slices out of fimo clay!!

I made the rub-ons for the words on the tabs with Graphix Arts Rub-Onz, my PC & Printer.

SCAL (Sure Cuts A Lot) Software & Cricut for the Titles.
Title Mat has ribbon laced through it and dots of Green Glitter Glue.
Covers are coated with Mod Podge to protect them.
Glittery "Die Cuts With A View" Paper.
Glittery "Die Cuts With A View - Sweet" Paper Stack
Glittery "Doodlebug" Flowers
Pretty Little Buttons and Lots of Ribbon!!

Here's Lyssa K's Book!

Here's my Little Miss Katie's Book!

Wanna make your own Rub-Ons?
Here's a brand new item to our store and it's what I used to create the words on the tabs...

For more info... check out the following Video Tutorial...
Please be patient... it doesn't start talking about the rub-onz for about 5 minutes into the video...

Do you have stacks of recipes or favorite recipes that are just floating around in your head? I hope these will inspire you to create your own recipe/cookbooks!!

Thanks for looking!! :)

Have an awesome day...

God bless & big hugs,

Tracy

"Life's Journey... Just one moment at a time" Journal and Bookmark

Well, I'm finally crafting again! I've been sooooo busy in the last few months... but things are finally slowing down a bit! Here's a journal & bookmark that I've been working on. The words mean a lot to me because I get over whelmed very easily!! I have a LOT going on in my life and my brain goes sooooo much faster than my body can keep up!! I'm trying desperately to S L O W down and just focus on the moment!!

I used a LOT of Webster's Pages on this one...

I bought a cheap notebook from Walmart and covered it using Mod Podge.
I used Webster's Pages "Pure Grace" and "Light the Way" papers.
I trimmed the edges with the "Floral Vine" Deep Edge Punch from Martha Stewart.
The flowers and leaves are handmade also using those WP papers.
The Alphas are WP "Postcards from Paris".
The pretty green "button" is a "Scalloped Sparkler" from WP.
The pink ribbon is WP's "Pink Velvet" and I just hung a silver cross from the bow.
I crocheted the white thread and left space for the green "Silk Ribbon" and "Pink Velvet".
The frame & birds are from "Dusty Attic"...
I just painted them white and put a little pink on the edge of the birds wings.
Oh... and the fluffy white feathers were a gift from my cockatoo... Titus Too!!

Close-up of the Journal

Close-up of the bookmark.

I sell almost everything you see in my store. So, it was awesome to finally use some of it!!
The Silk Ribbon was just added a couple of days ago and I only charge .18 a foot. The color I used is Seafoam Green #618... and it matches perfectly!!

I hope you're all having an awesome week!!

Thank you sooooo much for visiting...

God bless & big hugs,

Tracy
