"Any HERO" Card for OWH Midweek Throwdown Challenge

I created this card for the Midweek Throwdown Challenge on the "Stars and Stamps" Blog over at "Operation Write Home"...

"... make Any Hero cards and using the color scheme Red, White & Blue..."

I colored him in with Copic Markers

Font... "CK Template".

"Heart"... Ding Bat image from the "American Flag" Collection over at LetteringDelights.com

I added some "faux" stitching with a red Copic Marker.

Red Cardstock "Fired Brick" Tim Holtz Distress Paper 

Blue Cardstock "Chipped Sapphire" Tim Holtz Distress Paper





"Operation Write Home" is an awesome organization that sends blank handmade cards to our deployed military to write on and send home to their family & friends.

They are our amazing HEROES who risk their lives daily for our freedom!! This is something we can do to say "Thank You" for all that they do for us!! You can also create cards FOR the heroes and write encouraging notes for them!! :)

I hope you'll consider making cards for them too!!
