Card by my daughter, Katie, for Operation Write Home

My daughter, Katie (age 13) made this awesome card for a soldier to keep in touch with his/her teen back home!!

I love that this was made *FOR* a TEEN... *BY* a TEEN!!! :)

Katie used Copic Markers on a digi image from "Spesch Designer Stamps" called "Goth boy with ring".

She *spritz* the background paper with "Tattered Angels" Glimmer Mist "Cinder" and "Sea Glass"!!

Papers are from the "Rockstar" 8x8 Paper Stack from DCWV

Font is called "Whoa!"

"Operation Write Home" is an awesome organization that sends blank handmade cards to our deployed military to write on and send home to their family & friends.

They are our amazing HEROES who risk their lives daily for our freedom!! This is something we can do to say "Thank You" for all that they do for us!! You can also create cards FOR the heroes and write encouraging notes for them!! :)

I hope you'll consider making cards for them too!!

God bless & big hugs...

Tracy

I love that this card is made FOR a teen BY a teen - who better to know what another teen would like to receive from mom or dad when they are serving overseas!
