My daughter Katie (age 13) created a card for OWH Sketch Challenge #150!! :)

My daughter Katie (age 13) created this super sweet card for one of our deployed heroes to send home to his/her little "sweet heart"!! :)

Here's the sketch she used...

Here's a list of supplies that she used...

The adorable girl is a stamp from The Greeting Farm called "Miss Anya Hats Off"
Katie colored her in with Copic Markers

The "Hello" sentiment is a stamp by "Studio G"
Katie stamped a lot of images in the background!! :)
The flags, bird & birdcage were made with the "Adore" set by My Mind's Eye
Misc. My Mind's Eye & Prima stamps were also used

The super cute frame was made with a Spellbinder's die called "Floral Ovals"
Katie used the "Swirling Lace" Edge Punch by Martha Stewart...
then she inked the edges

Katie patiently stitched embroidery floss through Silk Ribbon on the top and bottom of the card!! :)

The gems are "Hot Fix Rhinestones"

She also stitched on a sweet little Bow Button with thread

Creating cards for OWH makes *GREAT* mother/daughter time!! :)

I hope you'll consider making cards for our heroes too!!

"Operation Write Home" is an awesome organization that sends blank handmade cards to our deployed military to write on and send home to their family & friends.

They are our amazing HEROES who risk their lives daily for our freedom!! This is something we can do to say "Thank You" for all that they do for us!!

You can also create cards FOR the heroes and write encouraging notes for them!! :)

Please pray for the safety of our military!!!!

God bless & big hugs...

Tracy & Katie
