Operation Write Home Sketch Challenge #150!! :)

I created this card for one of our deployed heroes to send a "love you" message home to his/her *sweet* little girl!! :)

Here's the sketch I used...

Here's a list of supplies...

The cute little girl is a stamp from The Greeting Farm called, "Miss Anya Hats Off"
I colored her in with Copic Markers

The Frame was made with the Spellbinders "Floral Ovals" Die
I stitched around it with green embroidery floss
Hot fix rhinestones were added
and a tiny green organza bow at the top

The "love you" Sentiment is by Studio G
I colored in the little birds with Copic Markers

Printed Paper is by Pebbles

"Doily Lace" Edge Punch by Martha Stewart

I added lots of Hot Fix Rhinestones

I also did a lot of stitching with embroidery floss around the edge!! :)

This was a super fun card to make and I truly hope it puts a *smile* on a little girls face when she gets it from her HERO!! :)

I also had an *AWESOME* time crafting with my daughter!!! :)

Creating cards for OWH is *GREAT* mother/daughter time!!

I hope you'll consider making cards for our heroes too!!

"Operation Write Home" is an awesome organization that sends blank handmade cards to our deployed military to write on and send home to their family & friends.

They are our amazing HEROES who risk their lives daily for our freedom!! This is something we can do to say "Thank You" for all that they do for us!!

You can also create cards FOR the heroes and write encouraging notes for them!! :)

Please pray for the safety of our military!!!!

God bless & big hugs...

Tracy

Tracy, this is the first time I've visited your blog. I came over from the OWH Sketch and I'm going to be a new follower. I'm so impressed by the level of detail you put into each and every card. Thanks for supporting our heroes!
