My Minds Eye Blog Challenge #16: Black - "Fun Journey" ... Bicycle Rack built 4 two!

Hi!

Here is a layout I entered in the My Minds Eye Blog Challenge #16: Black. It's a photo of my girls sitting on a Bike Rack in downtown Grants Pass, Oregon!

The rules: Use ANY My Mind’s Eye products (current or past) as long as your project has at least 80% My Mind’s Eye products.

I used 100% My Minds Eye "Lost & Found" items...

Red Background - "Favorite" Birds of a Feather Glittered Paper
Black & Cream Stripes - "Perfect" Happy Glittered Paper
**I used the "Double Arches" Martha Stewart "Around the Page" Punch
Light Damask with Red Glittered Flags - "Home Sweet Home" Love Glittered Paper

Dark Damask Circles - "Perfect" Damask Print Paper
Red & Black Scallop around the Circles - "Beautiful Day" Journey Glittered Paper
**I Used the "Deco Fan" Martha Stewart Punch... then cut between the scallop shapes. The paper is black on one side and red on the other. So I inked half of each color and glued them behind the circles.

Large Red & Black Flowers - "Beautiful Day" Journey Glittered Paper
Small Flowers - "Home Sweet Home" Love Glittered Paper
**I used punches to get the flower shapes, then spritzed them with water and scrunched them up! When dry... I flattened them out and inked them.
Flower Centers - "Favorite" Decorative Brads

3 Additional Red Brads on each Damask Circle are also the "Favorite" Decorative Brads

I Double Matted the Photo with the "Beautiful Day" Journey Glittered Paper
**I used Scallop Scissors on the Black Matt

The Ticket is from Union Square "Moments"

The Tag with the word Journey is cut from the "Beautiful Day" Journey Glittered Paper

The Bike and Decoration are Acrylic stamps from the "Portobello Road" Boy Collection
**I used Colorbox Cat's Eye "Dune" ink so it would match the Ticket

The Frame and Word "Fun" are Acrylic Stamps from the Union Square "Perfect" Collection

This was a lot of fun to make!
The Lost & Found Collection is absolutely AMAZING!!!!

Have a great day!! :)

God bless & big hugs...

Tracy
